He: Hello.

She: Hey honey... Listen.. I'm sorry I couldn't talk to you today. This week's being a living hell.

He: You know I understand. I apologize if sometimes I get a little anxious to talk to you when you're just tired...
Can you talk right now? I don't want to disturb you when you're working...

She: No it's ok now, I have like five minutes to dinner then get back to work. So since I won't leave my desk I thought it would be a nice thing to call you... And to say I'm sorry that we couldn't go to that concert. You should've gone by yourself, it would be a nice time alone and away from me, I'm quite emotional this week you know. By emotional you understand hysterical.

He: Hahah now you made me laugh. But listen honey, I understand... I mean, I wanted to go so much but mostly because of your company.
Or else I would be just a dork singing alone.

She: You're never a dork...

He: Perhaps... But what I wanted to say to you the whole day is that I get this anxious because talking to you or seeing you is the best part of my day. Even if I'm tired I forget that you might be tired also. So I'm sorry, I'm gonna be more quiet when you're this busy ok?

She: Don't you change, mister. Never.
But listen, I have to go back to my computer right now, but... I promise you tomorrow I'm gonna work only until 4 o'clock. Then I'm all yours.

He: Mmm keep talking.

She: So I promise you I'm gonna make us some special dinner at my place ok? All by myself, it's gonna be a surprise menu.

He: Oh I love your surprises... But tell me, do you need me to buy anything?

She: No way mister.

He: Well it's fine by me. It'll be good for an exchange just to watch you. Although I love to cook with you...

She: I might let you help with something then. But now I really got to go or I'm gonna be stuck here until midnight I guess...

He: Right. Get back to work and make me even prouder of you!
